Cyber-Attacher is an application which can connect with social media platforms through API information and access user's social media account. Thus, the user can check their social media accounts and censor their activities ( such as posts and comments, etc.)  in one platform. Cyber-Attacher also gives users options to choose what social media they would like to connect with and activities they want to get the notification for. Moreover, Cyber-Attacher can censor some inappropriate words from the user's social media accounts; if some bad words appear, it will alert users and let the user decide whether they want to delete or block immediately in case the problem spreads. What's more, Cyber-Attacher also initially considers about communication between teenagers and their parents. Because some parents are busy with work and neglect to care for their children, if the teenagers were cyberbullied they could do nothing about it.

According to my research, 78% of teens report that they have been using social media for five years or more and more than half say they are on social media for over five hours daily2.  The most popular social media are Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter3. Although different social media provide notification for their individual sits, it is not efficient to open each social media to check activities once the user receives the notification. So the mission for this project is establishing an application platform to bring all social media together and censor the activities, which not only let teenagers check their activities from different social media in one platform, but also can censor some inappropriate words and alert users to check immediately from social media accounts.

My research focuses on the influence of cyberbullying in society, especially among teenagers. To do so, I conducted the market analysis on existing apps, surveyed teenagers and parents regarding cyberbullying, and performed user testing.

Firstly, I focused on the competitive analysis of other apps on the market, which enabled me to build a better understanding of how API information works through social media and what is lacking in the existing apps.

Secondly, I conducted the survey and had conversations with teenagers and parents about cyberbullying to understand their opinions and perspectives better.

Lastly, I performed user testing among teenagers and parents during the design process. These feedbacks I received help improve Cyber Attacher's features and future version design.
